Another reason for destroying Syria: Natural gas and oil

Another reason for destroying Syria: Natural gas and oil

This news article originally in Arabic from Almayadeen TV

Dr. Imad Fawzi Shueibi, head of the Center for strategic studies and data in Damascus, reveals a discovered 14 oil basins (reservoirs) in Syrian territorial waters, under blackout on the results of the survey conducted by a Norwegian company.

And in an episode of the program "Dialogue of time" on the channel "fields" Shueibi said "A survey of the Syrian coast area of approximately 5000 square kilometers done by a Norwegian company called" Ancis "reach to the discovery of 14 oil fields."

Shueibi revealed that among the 14 fields "There are four fields of the area from the Lebanese border to the Banias, Syria area includes oil production equivalent to the production of the State of Kuwait's oil, and a total beyond what is found in Lebanon, Cyprus and Israel together."

Shueibi considered that this oil reserves is a "curse", following "The question is whether it is permissible to have a single state in all this?".

Words of Shueibi raises questions about the role of oil reserves and gas located in Syria and others invested in the crisis in the country, where it was discovered wells gas in the rural Homs and Damascus reserves a great addition to what is rumored war gas pipeline and Syria's strategic extend these lines.

Syria Reviews with Russian and China Opportunities for Oil and Gas Exploration in Territorial Waters

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Suleiman al-Abbas, reviewed with Ambassadors of Russia and China in Damascus the investment opportunities for oil and gas exploration in open areas and Syrian territorial waters.

In separate meetings with the two ambassadors on Thursday, al-Abbas discussed cooperation relations between the Oil Ministry and the Russian and Chinese companies in oil and gas exploration and developing existing fields to increase productivity and import of oil industry equipment.

The Minister indicated the existence of interesting new oil discoveries in Egypt, Palestine, Cyprus and Lebanon, referring to a report issued by the United States Geological Survey on estimates of the potentials available at Levantine Basin in eastern Mediterranean which stretches from Palestine in the south to Lattakia in the north reaching Cyprus in the west.

Al-Abbas clarified that this Basin was estimated to contain potential reserves of 3,455 billion square meter of gas, voicing the Ministry's desire to cooperate with the Russian and Chinese companies in sea exploration.

For their parts, the Russian and Chinese ambassadors stressed the deep cooperation relations between their countries and Syria in all fields, particularly the oil and gas fields, expressing hope to upgrade this cooperation to the level of political cooperation.

All of these oil and gas discoveries in Syria, are a factor of War on Syria. these oil discoveries which equals to Kuwait oil production, could cut GCC from Europe...

Shuaibi revealed that among the 14 fields "There are four fields of the area from the Lebanese border to the Banias, Syria area includes oil production equivalent to the production of the State of Kuwait's oil, and a total beyond what is found in Lebanon, Cyprus and Israel together."

GCC using the help of the west to destroy Syria, thus the Syrian gas and oil wont be sold to Europe and cutting GCC dream of pipeline from Gulf to Europe., the west also benefit from destroying Syria, thinking they will bring down the resistance and take Syria on their side, and benefit from the Syrian oil and gas. The west cannot repeat the scenario of Iraq, because the truth was reveled there was no WMD in Iraq, but oil... the west came up with different plans, which is destroying Syria, and toppling the resistance government and installing a puppet government that works for the west...the west/GCC plans caused ongoing bloodshed in Syria, both west and GCC do not believe in political democratic solution, instead, they encourage this war by supporting terrorism and sending weapons to terrorists in Syria... which will only cause destruction to the Syrian infrastructure and bloodshed..

Syria : Questions that Can not be Answered?

Syria : Questions that Can not be Answered?

It's been almost two years since the Syrian conflict started. Many countries such as the West, GCC, Turkey, Jordan, Iran, Russia, China and others have played major roles in the Syrian conflict. Iran, Russia and China always stood with the sovereignty and the independence of Syria, while others wanted NATO to invade Syria and destroy, it just like Libya is destroyed, and Alqaeda is running free in Libya. The West, GCC, and other puppets have said Alasad have no support from the Syrian people at all, which makes the individual ask questions and demand reasonable answers...
If Alasad has no support , then, Why does the west, and GCC refuse dialogue? why do they refuse Elections under the UN monitoring? Some will say its to late, I say late better than never. If the west, gcc, and puppet opposition cared about Syrian people, they would have done anything to stop the bloodshed, at least support election and/or dialogue. Instead the west, gcc, and outside opposition support more bloodshed by encouraging fighting and killing Syrians.

How can Alasad still be in power? If majority of Syrians rose up against Alasad, Alasad would have been gone long time ago... no power on this earth can overcome the will and the power of the people... in addition , the Syrian Army is the Syrian people, so then why there is still an army? which will lead to these questions...

Why there is still Syrian Army? We all know that about 70% of Syrians are Sunnis (or under the Sunni category) thus that means 70% of the soldiers are Sunni, wouldn't be easy for that soldier to turn their guns against the government? Yes there are defectors, but those defectors are nothing, and most known defectors run and leave the country and now live in Turkey, Jordan, Qatar and Europe and etc, they play no role inside Syria.

Why doesn't NATO start a war against Syria? Turkey and other Arab countries have requested many times for an invasion and war against the people of Syria, just like in Libya, however NATO always refused? Why? Does NATO know that Alasad has the majority support? does NATO know that Alasad Army is still united? Isn't easy for NATO to just attack Syria since Syria is already at war?

Why does F$A, outside opposition ask for foreigner fighters and foreigner support ( why do they want the west support? don't they have the people of Syria support?), if they claim that Syrians are with them? Many sources from the west and the east, provide evidence that F$A is mainly composed of Alqaeda and foreigners ( Spy chief: Dutch citizens are fighting in Syria
Terrorists from Spain and much more) terrorists from Europe, Australia, Arabs, and Turkish are fighting in Syria...

Why is there something called "outside opposition"? many claim that F$A control 70% of Syria, why doesn't the outside opposition return to that 70% controlled by them?

At the end I will say this, If the so called Syrian opposition and its masters cared about Syrian people, they would have done anything to end this bloodshed... that means ELECTIONS... Alasad leaving as a condition for a dialogue is not DEMOCRACY! Let the ballot boxes decide, if they claim that Alasad has no support, then they don't have to worry about Alasad winning, in addition the elections will be monitored by the UN Security Council ( USA, France, UK ( 3 west) Russia, and China)

If anyone has REASONABLE ANSWERS TO ALL THE QUESTIONS AND WILLING TO DEBATE/ DISCUSS RESPECTFULLY, THEN PLEASE ANSWER...

Terrorists from the Outside

Many western newspapers made reports stating there are terrorists coming from outside Syria to join the terrorists group the so called Free Army. The west have already acknowledged their fear of Al Qaeda growth in Syria, however they still support those groups, and worse they call them freedom fighters. Jeroen Oerlemans (photographer) was held hostage by terrorists in Syria and here he speaks about it to Russia Today.

Radical Islamists with “British accents” are among the coalition forces looking to topple Bashar Assad, says Jeroen Oerlemans, a photographer who was held hostage in Syria for a week. The UK Foreign Office has launched an investigation.Oerlemans, a famous Dutch photo journalist, and John Cantlie, another photographer from the UK, were captured by a group of between 30 and 100 anti-Assad fighters when crossing the Syrian border from Turkey last week. They were then blindfolded."One of the black jihadists freaked out and shouted: 'These are journalists and now they will see we are preparing an international jihad in this place.'" Oerlemans told NRC Handelsblatt newspaper. He said that none of the fighters was Syrian."They all claimed they came from countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh and Chechnya and they said there was some vague 'emir' at the head of the group."About 40 per cent of the militants spoke English. In fact, several apparently talked with recognizable regional British accents, from Birmingham and London. The two photographers suspected that a ransom would be demanded for their release and tried to escape. Oerlemans was shot twice in the leg during the failed attempt and Cantlie, who has so far not spoken to any media, was wounded in the arm.The pair’s ordeal ended when the Free Syrian Army, the main anti-Assad force, demanded that their nominal allies hand them over."They took us with them like a bunch of gangsters," Oerlemans said, "Shooting in the air as we rode out of there.”The Free Syrian Army released the men and the two are now resting in Turkey. They expect to travel home in the coming days.If it is confirmed, Oerleman’s story will add to reports that Syria has become a magnet for radical Islamists, who are there either as mercenaries or because of ideology."As soon as Assad has fallen, these fighters want to introduce Islamic law, Sharia, in Syria," said Oerlemans.

Here is also another article from the CNN , which says there are only about 30 Libyans, which in reality there are more then hundreds of Libyans and foreign fighters in Syria destroying the country. Now the propaganda here is at, it's best, we can compare Jeroen Oerlemans story to CNN story, CNN calls them freedom fighters.

Another Article from The Guardian talking about Al Qaeda ( or as the west calls them "freedom" fighters), I will highlight the most important sections of this article and I will include the link for the complete article from The Guardian. Blue is my commentary on some part of the article.
But these were not average members of the Free Syrian Army. Abu Khuder and his men fight for al-Qaida. They call themselves the ghuraba'a, or "strangers", after a famous jihadi poem celebrating Osama bin Laden's time with his followers in the Afghan mountains, and they are one of a number of jihadi organisations establishing a foothold in the east of the country now that the conflict in Syria has stretched well into its second bloody year.
They try to hide their presence. "Some people are worried about carrying the [black] flags," said Abu Khuder. "They fear America will come and fight us. So we fight in secret. Why give Bashar and the west a pretext?" But their existence is common knowledge in Mohassen. Even passers-by joke with the men about car bombs and IEDs.
According to Abu Khuder, his men are working closely with the military council that commands the Free Syrian Army brigades in the region. "We meet almost every day," he said. "We have clear instructions from our [al-Qaida] leadership that if the FSA need our help we should give it. We help them with IEDs and car bombs. Our main talent is in the bombing operations." Abu Khuder's men had a lot of experience in bomb-making from Iraq and elsewhere, he added.
This section is important it talks about how Al Qaeda is now part of the FSA, FSA and SNC ("Syrian" National Council) have always denied they worked with Al Qaeda but there is something else is being said:
"We meet almost every day," he said. "We have clear instructions from our [al-Qaida] leadership that if the FSA need our help we should give it. We help them with IEDs and car bombs. Our main talent is in the bombing operations."
This is coming from the terrorist himself which was interviewed by The Guardian.
"The car bomb cost us 100,000 Syrian pounds and fewer than 10 people were involved [in the operation]," he said. "Within two days of the bomb expert arriving we had it ready. We didn't waste a single bullet.
"Al-Qaida has experience in these military activities and it knows how to deal with it."
"In the beginning there were very few. Now, mashallah, there are immigrants joining us and bringing their experience," he told the gathered people. "Men from Yemen, Saudi, Iraq and Jordan. Yemenis are the best in their religion and discipline and the Iraqis are the worst in everything – even in religion."
The west and the GCC support these groups, which they went to Afghanistan to fight them, and now what happened?
Here is the complete report.

I want to ask the whole world, what kind of freedom is Al Qaeda? Why is the United States and the West supporting the same group they have been battling for years? Didn't the world learn from their previous mistakes? Didn't the US learn that supporting "freedom" fighters in Afghanistan resulted in the creation of Al Qaeda? The US support Osama Bin Laden to fight the Soviet Union and the result were very dangerous . What is the world doing right now in Syria?

This is their freedom.....

Vatican's Agenzia Fides: Armed Groups Affiliated with al-Qaeda Carrying Out Ethnic Cleansing of Christians in Homs.

Agenzia Fides, the Vatican's information service, said on Wednesday that armed terrorist groups affiliated with al-Qaeda are carrying out ethnic cleansing of Christians in Homs.

The report said that a note sent from the Syrian Orthodox Church, a militia calling itself "al-Faruq Brigade" expeled 90% of Christians in Homs and confiscated their homes by force, noting that members of this group broke into houses in the neighborhoods of Hamidiya and Bustan al-Diwan, forcing Christians to flee, without giving them the chance to take their belongings.

The note added that this group is run by armed elements of al-Qaeda and various Wahhabi groups and includes mercenaries from Libya and Iraq.

In addition, the Vicar Apostolic of Aleppo, Monsignor Giuseppe Nazzaro told Fides that these reports are beginning to break down the wall of silence built up to now by the press worldwide, while extremist and terrorist movements are making headway.

Nazzaro also recalled the recent bombing which took place in Aleppo on Sunday, saying "By a miracle a massacre of children was avoided, at the Center of catechesis of the Church of St. Bonaventure: only because the Franciscan, sensing danger, made the children leave 15 minutes before the usual time."
